Who We Worked With

A well-established electrical manufacturing and supply company with more than 25 years in business. Following a partial buyout by an investment firm, the company’s leadership team was navigating a new board structure and preparing to scale further in Australian and international markets. 

The Challenge

With a new board in place and ambitious growth opportunities on the horizon, the business faced a critical moment: align on a clear strategy or risk diluting their momentum through competing priorities and lack of direction.

The board and leadership team had plenty of options and were looking to each other for direction. Without agreement, they risked:

Our Approach

We designed and facilitated a strategy development process that created the conditions for robust discussion, leading to shared focus and agreement.

  • A pre-workshop questionnaire to capture thinking in advance
  • A facilitated session that kept attention on the right conversations and drove outcomes
  • Scenario planning to test strategies and identify “no-regret moves” effective across multiple futures
  • A comprehensive report outlining all the key decisions, outputs and outcomes

Our process drew out the hard questions and opened space for bold conversations, bringing the team into alignment and creating momentum to move the plan forward. In doing so, we uncovered a level of agreement beneath the surface that the team hadn’t realised was already there.
